Race Safety – Our #1 Priority!

Safety On Course

We do everything in our power to ensure that your kids can have endless fun in a safe environment. Each wave will be divided up into two age groups, with the older kids aged 8-12 leading off each wave and kids aged 3-7 following behind. If you have children that are between the separation ages, the older child will be able to stay with the younger.

There will be a dedicated PARENT VIEWING LANE directly next to the kid’s running course so you can follow along as your kid makes his or her way through the obstacles. We ask that parents do not climb on the obstacles. We will have volunteers at each obstacle to give a hand to any children that need assistance. There will be an EMT crew on site at each event for any injured runners.

Safety Procedures

While our event is completely safe, there is always the possibilities of injuries happening. If your child gets injured on course or in Krazy Town, find the nearest volunteer and they will contact one of our crew members. If needed, we can give you and your child a ride to the EMT station for quick assistance. If your child injures their head or neck, please do not move them until EMT arrives. If your child cannot complete the rest of the course, we will personally make sure that they still receive a shirt and medal.

Children With Special Needs

If your child has special needs, we still want them to be included on the fun! They are welcome to run at the end of their wave, regardless of their age. This will help limit the amount of other kids running at the same time as them. While as a parent you cannot run the course with them, you can follow along right next to them in the parent viewing lane. Volunteers will be on course to give them a hand as needed.

Lost Child Plan

If you cannot find your child, please head directly to the start line tent. Our Event MC can make as many announcements as needed until your child is safely returned to you. There is communication throughout the day between all crew members and volunteers, so we will work together to find your child even if they are on course. The finish line area is ideal meeting point to set up with your children if you get separated, and we encourage your kids to not leave this area without their mom/dad/family/friend.

Liability Waiver

You are welcome to view the liability waiver for our course HERE. This waiver will need to be signed during registration.
