EVENT PARKING: All participant parking will be in dedicated lots around the area. Please follow event parking signs. Parking is free.

KEY POINTS

    • Please have your printed or e-ticket present when checking-in at the registration tent.
    • Each wave will be divided up with the bigger kids running first. Smaller kids will follow directly behind. If you have children that are between the separation ages, the older child will be able to stay with the younger.
    • WATER – Participants are allowed to bring water with them on the course. We will provide a water stop on course (½ way point) as well as at the Finish Line. The water provided is for participants only.
    • PARKING – All participant parking will be in dedicated lots around the area. Please follow event parking signs. Parking is free.
    • Arrive 1 HOUR prior to your child’s wave time to ensure you have enough time to park, check in at the Registration Tent, get your child’s bib, grab your child’s participant shirt, and head to the Start Line.
    • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away.
    • PARENTS – Parents are asked to not go on course, but are welcome to follow along from the dedicated “Parent Viewing Lane”. Volunteers will be throughout the course if your child needs a hand through an obstacle. The water provided to participants is not available for parents.
    • On Saturday, event day, you may still register (either online or at our registration tent) for $29/person – CREDIT CARD ONLY.
    • Credit card purchases will also be possible for merchandise at the General Store. All Access Pass runners will receive their $15 merchandise credit at the General Store by showing their race bib.
    • Please have your child wear appropriate clothing/footwear to get through the race. Shoes are okay on all obstacles.
    • You may bring a lawn chair or blanket. You may not bring weapons, drugs, coolers or alcohol. You may bring your own water (including on the course).

EVENT SCHEDULE

Your child will have his or her specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away. All times subject to change as weather or other factors may require.

  • 9:00am– Wave #1
  • 9:20am – Wave #2
  • 9:40am– Wave #3
  • 10:00am – Wave #4
  • 10:20am – Wave #5
  • 10:40am – Wave #6
  • 11:00am – Wave #7
  • 1:00pm– Event Closes

PARENT ROLES & INVOLVEMENT

  • Parents are asked to not go on course, but are welcome to follow along from the dedicated “Parent Viewing Lane”. Volunteers will be throughout the course to give your child a hand, as needed.
  • After your child has completed the course, please plan on picking them up at the Finish Line Tent. Please encourage your kids not to leave this area without you.

PARKING

  • All participant parking will be in dedicated lots around the area. Please follow event parking signs. Parking is free.
  • Please lock your vehicle at all times. The Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

REGISTRATION

  • When you arrive at the venue, check in at the Registration Tent. The tent will be clearly marked. Choose any lane marked “Pre-Registration Pick-Up” and check in to get your bib.
  • If you have not yet purchased a registration, you may do so at the event using a credit card. Day-of registration is $29/runner. You may register at the Registration Tent and choose any lane marked “Day-Of Registration.
  • Registration begins at 8:00am (Saturday). Please arrive an hour before your child’s wave.
  • Don’t remember your wave time? Forgot to print your ticket? You can resend yourself a confirmation email with this information.
  • You will need to verify your child’s date of birth to pick up his or her race bib.
  • Once you check in, you will receive a race bib, a t-shirt ticket, and directions on starting the race.
  • Proceed to the Shirt Shop to pick up your child’s participant shirt. You will be given the shirt in exchange for the ticket given at registration. The shirt can be picked up either before or after they run the course.
  • All runners will receive a participant t-shirt, medal, snack, and water.

WAVE START TIME

  • Each participant should know his or her start time prior to race-day. If you do not know your child’s wave time, you can resend yourself a confirmation email with this information.
  • Participants’ families should arrive at least one hour prior to their wave time.
  • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their race bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away.
  • Participants should line up in the Starting Line corral 10 minutes before their wave time. Our MC will make announcements all day regarding this.
  • Participants with an All Access Pass will have this written on their race bib. With this Pass, they can run in any wave start time and can run in multiple waves. They cannot start the course in between waves, or after the last wave has been sent off.
  • Please pay close attention to announcements made by the event MC, as they are important instructions and often safety-related.

THE FINISH LINE

  • Upon completion of the race a Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run Team Member or volunteer will meet your child at the Finish Line.
  • Your child will then receive their medal, a snack, and water.
  • Please encourage your child to not leave this area without you.

RACE RULES

  • All Participants must have a Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run bib stuck on the FRONT of their clothing to start the race.
  • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away.
  • Participants with an All Access Pass will have this written on their race bib. With this Pass, they can run in any wave start time and can run in multiple waves. They cannot start the course in between waves, or after the last wave has been sent off.
  • Participants must line up 10 minutes prior to wave time, and your child must run the wave you selected at registration.
  • Parents are not allowed on course, but may follow along only from the dedicated Parent Viewing Lane.
  • Your child may skip an obstacle if it’s too tough.

RACE SAFETY

  • Each wave is separated by age with the bigger kids running first. The smaller children will safely follow behind them. If you have children that are between the separation ages, the older child will be able to stay with the younger.
  • If you feel your child cannot safely complete an obstacle, you should have him or her skip it and go around it.
  • All participants’ parents acknowledge that participation in the Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run contains inherent risks and dangers. All parents or guardians must carefully read and sign the WAIVER during the registration process. This does not need to be printed out and brought to the event.
  • If your child does get injured on course or in Krazy Town, find the nearest volunteer and they will contact one of our crew members. If needed, we can give you and your child a ride to the EMS station for quick assistance.
  • If your child gets lost and you cannot find him or her, please head directly to the start line tent. Our MC can make as many announcements as needed until your child is safely returned to you. The finish line area is ideal meeting point to set up with your children if you get separated, and we encourage your kids to not leave this area without their mom/dad/family/friend.

KRAZY TOWN

  • Krazy Town is free for all spectators and kids. The only additional fees might come from extras such as face painting.
  • There is no age/height limit to enter Krazy Town.
  • There will be volunteers throughout Krazy Town to give a hand as needed. Please do not leave your children in Krazy Town without supervision.

EMERGENCY NEEDS

  • In the event of an emergency requiring course evacuation, please follow all instructions given by Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run Staff or Volunteers, Emergency Medical Personnel or Law Enforcement Officers.
  • If you experience or witness an emergency situation while on the course, please immediately seek out a Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run team member (T-shirts marked “STAFF” or “VOLUNTEER” on the back). Staff and many volunteers will have radios and will provide quick assistance as needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • We will not have photographers on course or at the event.
  • The “Parent Viewing Lane” is a great spot to get photos of your kids racing through the course. Good luck keeping up!

FACILITIES

  • There will be port-a-potties onsite.
  • There will be food and beverages available for sale at this event, and a small snack will be provided after the race.
  • Runners are allowed to bring water on the course with them if they choose (there will be one water stop on course for participants only).

WEATHER & NATURAL DISASTER POLICY

  • The Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run will run rain or shine. In the case of lightning or other “severe” weather, the event will either be delayed until the weather clears, postponed until the next day, rescheduled for another day or cancelled all together.
  • There are no standing scheduled “rain dates” for events owned and directed by the Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run. Events are held rain, shine or snow. In the case of significantly inclement weather (i.e. lightning in the area), we reserve the right to alter components of the event or course to address safety concerns, or potentially delay, postpone or cancel the event. In addition, it is possible that while we desire not to cancel the event, our facility and/or municipalities may force the cancellation of the event.
  • In such situations, there will be No Refunds of entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee. Monies collected have already been used to develop and produce the event. We promise to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event. Any decision made to go forth with the event is contingent on the overall event and course safety, and is made in collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate.
  • We reserve the right to withhold any obstacles to maintain a safe course for all runners.
